It doesn't have to be the truth. It just has to be repeated over and over and over, and drown out everyone and anyone else.
The Big Lie. Now where have we seen that before?
Lawrence Martin's piece in the National Newspaper today is a timely reminder of why it's important not to cede control over the narrative. The Harpobots are trying to sell the idea that no one cares about contempt of Parliament, or proroguing, or stonewalling on access to information, or anything like that.
Not that we're lacking examples of Harper's abuse of power, but we've got to keep hammering away at them, so the story doesn't become, as Scott Reid warns us, "no one cares."
To arms, comrades!
